Needle Felted Pin Cushion with Kathie Beale
10 to 11:30 am - 6 spots

Needle felting is a fun and creative art that allows you to create beautiful and unique pieces using just a few basic materials. If you’re new to needle felting, this will be a “mini-introduction” to get you started felting. Students will design and create a needle felted pin cushion nestled in a wood bowl using dyed wool fibers and a felting needle. All materials will be provided.
Watercolor Made Easy: Session 1
10 to 11:30 am - 6 spots

You will be personally guided by an experienced watercolorist from the Groton Art Class in painting your first watercolor! ​Participants of all ages welcome! Materials provided.


Puppet Making with Lily Gershon
12 to 1:30 pm. - 12 spots (check tent day of for spots!)

Children will make a hand puppet from provided materials. We will bring the fabric puppet body shapes of different colors and designs, as well as yarn, fabric, buttons, beads, markers, and other materials to add faces and accessories

Watercolor Monoprint with Emily Gibbons
2 to 3 pm - 6 spots

Make your own watercolor monoprint! We will be painting onto a plate and making a print from the plate - sometimes we can get an extra ghost print as well. Materials provided. Source materials provided but please feel free to bring your own!

You Won't Believe Your Eyes! with David Beale
2 to 3:30 pm - 6 spots

Draw fun optical illusions with pencil and paper provided while learning about perception of lines and value (light vs dark) in drawing and painting- fun for all ages! Experience the magic of color mixing.
