Children's Presentation
10 am to 11 am - no limit - sign ups not needed!
Children's Presentation with Mary Frank, Peck Library
in Marathon. She will be reading The Chocolate
Pilot. And leading a make-and-take on paper helicopters.

Watercolor Made Easy
10 to 11 am - 10 spots
You will be personally guided by an experienced watercolorist from the Groton Art Class in painting your first watercolor! Participants of all ages welcome! Materials provided.

Beginner's Quilt Block
11 am to 12 pm - 10 spots
Beginner's Block Quilt with Rose Barber, a long-time quilter from Marathon. She will be teaching hand-sewn quilting techniques. Students will have fun making a 4 x 4 starter square and learning some quilting tips.

Illustration
12 to 12:30 pm. - 10 spots
Illustration with Ellen Rahner, a talented local illustrator. She is currently illustrating her 4th book and painting a mural at the new coffee/book shop at the Corset building. She will be hosting a
drawing workshop - just for fun!

Poetry Workshop
1 to 2 pm - 10 spots
Local author and poet, Nancy Dafoe, will be leading "Five to Try," A Poetry Workshop Playing with Techniques. This workshop encourage poets to try techniques like chiasmus, catachresis, metonymy, metaphor, and personification, bringing richness to their work.

Watercolor Monoprint with Emily Gibbons
2 to 3 pm - 10 spots
Make your own watercolor monoprint! We will be painting onto a plate and making a print from the plate - sometimes we can get an extra ghost print as well. Materials provided. Source materials provided but please feel free to bring your own!

Zentangle Drawing
3 to 4 pm - 10 spots
Zentangle Drawing with Mary Elliott - Eltimar Design. Come see what Zentangle is, and draw with us! Artwork
from Emily's Monoprint class can be used but is not mandatory. Supplies will be available.
