Regional Photography Exhibit

October 2022

Digital Gallery

The Digital Gallery

This is the 12th Juried Regional Photography Exhibit, sponsored each year by the Cortland Arts Connect

19 photographers from around the area submitted 37 works choosing from five categories - Motion, Daydreams, Angles, Shadows and Open.

(Open - This category provides photographers the opportunity  to exhibit works that they particularly like without being constrained by a specific subject.
(Daydream) - While most photographers use digital techniques such as brightness, contrast, and sharpening to improve the final image (“post-processing”), this category is for photographs that have been created or significantly altered digitally, by combining and/or manipulating images so that the product no longer represents reality.

An awards presentation and opening reception was held on Friday October 14th opening 5:30 pm - with awards announced by event judge Elisha Stasko; Adjunct professor at Syracuse University Newhouse School of Public Communications.  Video of the awards and virtual gallery of all entries belos. The exhibit will be featured in the Cortland Free Library for the remainder of October.
