Providing inspiration in the winter months! CRT Downtown becomes an elegant art gallery,
displaying the beautiful paintings, sculpture and other visual artistry created by Cortland’s own artists.
Be the FIRST to see the gallery at our Grand Opening Gala, when light appetizers, a beer/wine cash bar, live music, and a prize raffle will be available along with a chance to mingle with the artists.
Select pieces will be available for purchase.
The gallery will then be open the following week for daily viewing. Stroll thru at your leisure!

or in person at the CRT Downtown Box Office.
You may also purchase them online for a small additional fee.
Tickets are limited and may sell out, so we recommend purchasing in advance.
Drop-Off: Please bring your work to the lobby at CRT Downtown (24 Port Watson St) on Monday 2/12, or Tuesday 2/13 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. We will contact you via e-mail if this changes. You may have someone else drop them off on your behalf, or just let us know if you need to make other arrangements.
Pick-Up: You may pick-up your pieces at CRT beginning at 10 a.m. on 2/26. Again, just let us know if you need to make other arrangements.
Opening Gala: Artists are encourage to attend the opening Gala, but it is certainly not required. There is a $25 per person cost, which covers the cost of food, and a live musician. You may purchase tickets at the CRT box office, by calling CRT, or on their website for an additional online fee. Limited tickets are available, so we recommend purchasing them in advance if you plan to attend. Click HERE for the Facebook Event Page, and feel free to "share" and invite your friends. There are also FREE open gallery hours from 2/17 from 9-5, and 2/18-2/23 from 1-5 p.m. See more info below.
Security: Neither the Cortland Repertory nor the Cultural Council accept responsibility for lost or stolen property. The Gallery or Box Office will be staffed during all Gallery Hours.
Setup: Setup will be done before the Grand Opening Gala, hanging will be done by our staff.
Refund Policy: No refunds will be given for cancellation after acceptance.
Sales: CCCC will handle the sale and take 20% commission. CCCC is a non for profit organization.
Presentation: For all accepted work, please use a professional-quality frame that is wired and ready for installation. You may get it framed professionally or do your own mounting, matting, and/or framing using a store bought frame with professional results (gallery wrap style framing is acceptable). Please include a note on the back with your name, title, and price. We will be providing cards with that information (as written on attached PDF) that we will hang by your work.
The jury committee reserves the right to refuse an accepted work because of unacceptable presentation or if the work was not accurately represented in the submitted image.
Museum glass is not necessary and color, style, etc. is completely up to this artist.
If you are accepted, you need to be a current Artist Member for your work to be included in the exhibit.
