Join us at Cortland's inaugural Steampunk Festival! Drawing on Cortland New York's industrial roots, the events takes visitors across town to enjoy a weekend of invention, experimentation, and creative fun.

Vendors will be set-up at various participating venues, and can choose to participate Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday. Based on the number of days you wish to vend for, we will pair you with a location that will be open for this span of time.

Participating venues to vend at include:

• The 1890 House Museum

• Center for the Arts of Homer

• The CNY Living History Center

• The Cortland Corset Building

Entry Procedure:     
1) Pay applicable fees.  Pay through Paypal (see Fees), or mail a check and info to:
      Cultural Council of Cortland County,
      P.O. Box 5133, Cortland, NY  13045.

• All fees are due upon submitting the application.                

• The $$ application fee is nonrefundable.                

• The space fee will be refunded if you are not selected.

• No refunds after DATE

2) Submit the Application Form electronically and click the “SUBMIT" button at bottom.

3) Send three (3) representative samples of your work through one of the following methods:

• Attached to the online application below

• Prints mailed with the application to the above Cultural Council address

Vendor Application

Submission of application gives permission to allow the reproduction of your images for publicity purposes. The undersigned hereby agrees to all terms and conditions in the prospectus and does hereby release the Cultural Council of Cortland County from liability for any damaged or stolen articles.

Vendor Information

• Required Licenses: You must display a New York State Permission to Collect Sales Tax Certificate.

• Security: While the event will be patrolled, you are responsible for your own personal belongings. Neither the Cortland Corsets to Cogs Festival nor the Cultural Council accept responsibility for lost or stolen property.

• Setup: Setup can begin at TIME.  Displays must be ready for viewing by TIME and must stay remain up until TIME.  Vendors who leave early will not be invited back.  

• Trash: Please remove all your trash.​

• No refunds will be given for cancellation after acceptance or if the event is cancelled due to severe weather.  The show will be held rain or shine, and most locations include options for vending inside.

• Sub-renting is not allowed.

• Eligibility:  All work must be created by the applying artist. Though prints of the original works are permitted, only original works will be considered for awards. Information about awards will be coming shortly.
